SHOALS–Our Shoals Area continues to have a problem with unsightly trash on our roadways, lands, public areas, and in our rivers and streams. KTSB (Keep the Shoals Beautiful) is a Chamber of Commerce Foundation sponsored organization created for the purpose of educating and encouraging the public and business community to properly dispose of their trash.

FLORENCE–A local group of Girl Scouts took action on a recent Saturday by planting trees, shrubs, and flowers around Wilson School. The Girl Scout organization promotes leadership skills, positive learning experiences, and opportunities for girls to explore these areas safely.
