The desire to smoke cigarettes has never been mine. Understanding the health risks it presents to both the smoker and those around him/her have always outweighed any enjoyment that I could derive from the habit-forming, additivefi lled domestic product.

Dear Editor:

Mr. Keith Jones and the Northwest Alabama Council of Local Governments (NACOLG) who sponsored the Senior’s Day at the Coliseum did a remarkable job.

The workers, vendors, volunteers, dancers, musicians, those who provided food and gifts, those who set up the chairs, etc. all need a big thank you. Thanks for a job well done.
