Dear Sir:

The questions about Obama’s birth certificate may soon be answered thanks to a real patriot who was willing to put his career and freedom on the line. His name is LTC Terry Lakin, and he is facing court martial for questioning Obama’s eligibility. LTC Lakin is a highly decorated Flight Surgeon who has questioned the legality of orders from Obama as an unqualified Commanderin Chief.

This is an issue that will not go away until it is settled by the courts. The arguments against Obama’s eligibility are complex and lengthy, and I suppose that every one has an opinion. There are some troubling aspects of this debate which should concern all citizens, regardless of your beliefs.

One is the refusal to release a true birth certificate and the insistence that the certification of live birth meets the requirement. Another is that he has named different hospitals as his place of birth. The media accepted his early statements and published the information. When he later revised the birth hospital name the media, UPI , Snopes.com, and factcheck.org changed their stories.

If a true birth certificate exists, there should have never been any confusion. The Governor of Hawaii and Director of Public Health have stated that they have seen the actual document. However, CNN says that according to their research, all documents were destroyed when Hawaii went paperless in 2001. Someone is mistaken!! The Obama zealots have resorted to ridicule of anyone who dares to question his eligibility and used vile smears against LTC Lakin. WHY?
