FLORENCE–Demos’ Restaurant is doing a different kind of Labor Day promotion this year. They are honoring mothers-to-be as they approach their own “labor” day with a free meal at the restaurant all day September 6.

Jim Demos, founder of Demos’ Restaurants, said that this Labor Day offer is available to any expectant mother who visits the restaurant on Seville Road off Cox Creek Parkway. In addition, Demos said that they will make arrangements so that any mother who delivers on Labor Day will receive a certificate for a free meal for her use later in the year.

He said the company has always tried to do more unusual types of promotions, and this provides an opportunity to make Labor Day a bit more special while saluting these soon-to-be Mothers. “We can never say thank you enough to our mothers for all they do,” he said. “However, this is one way we can say thank you in a more enjoyable way and make Labor Day a bit more special for these women.”

This Labor Day special offer is good during lunch and dinner on September 6. There is nothing anyone needs to do to claim their meal. “Just tell us you’re expecting, and we’ll start the celebration,” Demos added.
