Talk is cheap.

Talk is cheap.

That’s my mantra for 2012.

It’s about Results... not excuses.

I know, I know, it’s a little abrasive. Maybe a little too strong. But that’s just it, sometimes we need a harsh reminder in our lives. Tell it like it is. It’s always tomorrow I’ll do this or next week I’ll start that. The question I have is this: Why not today? Why not right now?

Whether it’s a diet, exercise program or developing a new system or process in your business, why is it so hard to see it through? It is about discipline and doing things that you know you need to do even when you don’t feel like doing them. THAT, is what seems to separate the most successful people from the rest.

You can read all the greatest books, buy all of the DVD’s and Audio sets that you want but until you implement those great ideas into your life and actually DO those things that need to be done on a consistent basis, your “Self Help” is only “Shelf Help”.

In 2012, join me and let’s commit to not let that happen. Let’s DO and not think. Let’s take action on those things that will have the greatest impact on our life. Let’s ask ourselves throughout each day this question: Will the result of the decision I am about to make put me one step closer to my goal or one step further away?

Let’s take 100% responsibility for where we are, set goals for where we want to be and then make those little decisions throughout each day that will get us there.

2012 is going to be a super year. I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to let external factors such as the economy, housing market, unemployment, elections or whatever else is out there trying to drag us down get in my way. Those are excuses someone else can use.

My clients want results, not excuses. That’s why I will constantly be asking myself what I’m doing to get homes sold for my clients and making sure that we are delivering on the promises we make when we list a home that we will do ALL we can do.

This is our year. Enough talk. Let’s get going... -mr
