Re-hired as UNA's head football in January after coaching the Lions for ten years from 1988-97, Wallace said he was excited about his signing class.

"It was a great morning," Wallace said. "Our staff did a great job getting out on the road in a short period of time  and pulling together an outstanding group of signees. We wanted to get back into the high schools and were able to get 37 high freshman signees. There were also a lot of kids that we walked in late on who had offers from other schools and they changed their minds and came to UNA."

UNA's recruiting class is includes players at every position with eight offensive linemen, seven defensive backs, six defensive linemen, six receivers, six running backs, five linebackers and three quarterbacks.
