Legendary Penn St. football coach Joe Paterno passed away Sunday, January 22. What SHOULD he be remembered for?
He was one of the best coaches the game has known, with more major college wins than any other coach.
He knew what was going on and he selfishly put the Penn St. program ahead of the welfare of young boys.
He used poor judgement not aggressively addressing abuses by former assistant, but it should not detract from successes.
