Mother’s Day is Sunday, so be sure to spend personal time with your mother if you are still blessed with the opportunity. If distance is a hindrance, make that call in a timely manner.
It will be twenty years ago next week that my sister, brother, and I lost our mother. At times she feels so close, and it only seems like ten. At other times it feels like forty. We still miss her every day.
Life is precious. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Don’t let opportunities slip by. Cherish the time and opportunities that you have to make memories with your parents. Most of us know some who now regret missed opportunities. We never know when sharing quality time will cease. Spend an extra few minutes this weekend with the person who loves you the most in life. Happy Mother’s Day Moms!
