Editor:

We are told by a Democrat Congresswoman that Electoral College (USA Constitution Article II, Amendment XII, and Amendment XXIII) is slanted toward white supremacy and must be eliminated.

In reality, the delegates are representative of each state rather than representative of only “middle America.” However, she has a point. By abolishing the Electoral College system, the densely populated areas such as NY City, Los Angeles, etc.) would control the country. Democrats tell us the Second Amendment does not refer to the right of self-defense. Thomas Jefferson called it the right to self-preservation.

The Supreme Court in 2008 stated the right to keep and bear arms in the home is an individual pre-political right. There are rifles today which are far superior to the muskets used in the 1700’s. Fact, the muskets the Colonists used were far superior to the ones used by the British. When the Constitution was drafted, there were two basic political parties. The Federalists advocated a strong central government and Anti-Federalists wanted a loose confederation of states. It seems things haven’t changed much.

WHAT???? without exception, that is one party, the Democrats wishing to rewrite the Constitution and the Amendments thereof, thus eliminating what the founders referred to as “inalienable rights.” Some things change, but ignorance remains.
