There is a book called The Discovery of Genesis by C.H. Kang and Ethel R. Nelson. It claims that the first eleven chapters of Genesis, known as “the prologue of the Bible,” are encoded into the ancient calligraphy of the Chinese language. Kang was a Chinese Christian who discovered that the early world history as recorded in Genesis is also recorded in the Chinese language.

Kang’s first discovery was in the Chinese character for boat. The components of that character represent a vessel, the number eight, and a person. Eight persons in a vessel is the story of Noah and the Ark. Upon this discovery, Mr. Kang wrote down the Chinese character for create. In breaking down the character, he saw that the components represented dust or mud, a mouth, life, and walking. This signified to the discoverer a character depicting the creation of Adam.

He found depictions that tell of these events and explains them in his book.

The book cites the Bible in Acts 14: 15-7 that the God of Israel has not left himself without witness. Apparently, God is so smart that he made a backup copy to the prologue of the Bible, before the Bible itself was inspired to its Jewish and Christian writers. There is no God but the one who announced his name to Moses as “I AM THAT I AM.” In past times He had spoken to us by His prophets, but in these last days has spoken to us by His Son, Jesus, the heir of all things. If we intend to ignore Him and His way, He has not left himself without witness when He judges us.
