According to Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer is likely the premier expert on Islamic jihadists. In his March 15 internet article on the New Zealand murders, he points out that the heinous attack on the mosques are being used to try to silence all criticism of Jihad terror and sharia oppression of women and others.

Spencer warns that few stop to think that there is a big difference between nonviolent analysis of a source of violence and oppression and vigilante violence against innocent people. In other words, criticism of the Islamic system of oppression carried out by those in authority is not the same as the violent attack by a non-Muslim deranged individual attacking Muslims in their place of worship.

It is understandable and expected that the Muslim leaders will use this violent attack to criticize our nation. However, for the American news media and members of our Congress to blame our president is ridiculous and irresponsible.

Richard Blumenthal, the senator who thought he had served in Vietnam, then recalled that he hadn’t, quickly blamed the president for the New Zealand mosque attack.

Any Vietnam veteran will tell you that if you were in Vietnam during the war you knew it for sure. I’m amazed that this phony has the nerve to even appear on television.
