MUSCLE SHOALS - Northwest-Shoals Community College will host its 2021-2022 commencement ceremonies Thursday, May 12 outdoors on the Shoals campus.

In the event of rain, the commencement ceremony will be moved indoors at Grace Life Church in Muscle Shoals. Graduates from the summer semester of 2021 through spring semester of 2022 will be recognized.

“Our students have worked over the past two years to get to this point,” said NW-SCC President Dr. Jeff Goodwin. “I am so excited to have the opportunity to honor them at Commencement. We look forward to celebrating with our graduates and their families and welcoming them to campus on May 12.”

According to the NW-SCC Enrollment Management Office, approximately 1,250 students have completed requirements for graduation during the 2021 summer, 2021 fall, and 2022 spring semesters. Approximately 290 students plan to participate in graduation ceremonies on Thursday (5/12). Guests are encouraged to bring their own outdoor folding chairs. The college will also provide folding chairs as needed.
