Entering Month 2

SHOALS – As we closed last week, the state of Alabama still ranks 28th out of 52 (including DC & Puerto Rico) when it comes to Census Response rate.  Our response rate is up to 50.8% (49.3% last week) compared to the national average of 52.4%.

Here are the census response rates for each city/town in our region and % increase from last week.  GRAY indicates levels below the state average.

All response rates were collected Friday evening April 24 from the US Census Bureau’s Self-Response Rankings Dashboard.

Those of us who haven’t yet done so, let’s make a point to fill out our Census form this week!  And ask your neighbors and encourage them.
