MONTGOMERY – The Alabama Civil Justice Foundation (ACJF) recently awarded $3,500 to Shoals CASA to support the efforts of the Volunteer Advocacy program working to make the needs of abused and neglected children a priority.

Funds awarded by the ACJF grant will assist Shoals CASA in the re-design of the agency’s website to enhance recruitment and provide training of CASA Volunteers for children.

“Justice includes the opportunity for all citizens - which includes our children - to have adequate food and shelter, safety, a sense of well-being, and an opportunity to thrive,” said Andrea Holt, Executive Director of Shoals CASA. “The Foundation’s investment in CASA’s efforts to reach more community members with our mission is a clear message that Alabama’s legal community wants our children to be safe, healthy and successful.”
