MUSCLE SHOALS – Summer 2020 is an exciting time at the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Muscle Shoals.
June 26 marks the organization’s move to its brand-new facility at 1615 Trojan Drive.
The new building houses Easterseals Speech Therapy and Vocational Services programs, the Adult Vocational Rehabilitation offices of the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services, and Robin Irwin Physical and Occupational Therapy Services.
Easterseals Work Center has a new location at 2827 Avalon Avenue in the Muscle Shoals Industrial Park.
In addition, Easterseals welcomes a new executive administrator to lead the organization into the next decade. Jerry Groce of Russellville brings a professional lifetime of experience and success in the field of social services administration to his new position. Groce was the Regional Manager over eleven DHR County Directors in North Alabama before joining Easterseals.
Groce takes over the leadership position from the retiring Danny Prince. Prince served as the Easterseals’ administrator for 19 years, and his retirement is well-deserved.
What hasn’t changed? Easterseals will continue to help children and adults with disabilities all over Northwest Alabama just as they have for over 50 years.
