FLORENCE – On the heels of a multi-million dollar settlement for a car accident client, Tom McCutcheon and Joel Hamner, partners in the Shoals-based law firm McCutcheon & Hamner, received notification that they had been accepted as members in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

The forum is comprised of trial lawyers throughout the United States. Members of the Forum must be Life Members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Additionally, they must have acted as principal counsel in at least one case which has resulted in a multi-million dollar verdict, award, or settlement.

“It has been a humbling experience to be entrusted by so many people to help them during some of their most difficult times,” stated firm partner Joel Hamner. “Since Tom and I founded McCutcheon & Hamner we have strived every day to make a difference in the lives of our clients and their cases.”

Fellow partner McCutcheon added, “Having handled big case after big case, I believe Joel and I have obtained a level of expertise necessary to successfully handle these type cases either through settlement, or by going to trial.”

Fewer than 1% of trial lawyers nationally are included as members of the forum. Of these, twenty-two are in the state of Alabama.

Hamner concluded, “While we are very proud of this recognition, our real satisfaction comes from working every day with our clients and providing straight-forward answers and determined representation for each of them.”

The law firm of McCutcheon & Hamner PC has represented people who have been injured for over 30 years.
