MUSCLE SHOALS – Lewis Automotive Group sales consultant, Blake Stutts, recently set a new record for the 106 year-old company by selling a total of 57.5 vehicles in October 2021. The previous record was established by Don Mathews in August of 2006 when he sold 53.5 units. Jeff Jones sold 52 vehicles in March of 1995. They are the only three to have eclipsed 50 vehicles in one calendar month since the company was established in 1915.
Stutts attributed the new mark to, “Hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and my desire to never settle. I have a strong belief in 100% customer satisfaction and going the extra mile. I also wouldn’t be able to do what I do without the help of my amazing colleagues and team members within our Long-Lewis Automotive Group.”
“Our honesty, integrity and no-nonsense way of doing business has led to us being awarded more Presidents’ Awards for customer satisfaction than any other dealer in the nation,” said Todd Ouellette, President/ CEO of Long-Lewis Automotive Group.
Ford has also recognized Long-Lewis as the #1 dealership in the nation in customer satisfaction.
“This was a huge accomplishment in which we take much pride,” Ouellette added.
According to a recent National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Dealership Workforce Study Industry Report, the national average for automotive sales staff turnover rate is 62%. Long-Lewis’ rate is less than 10%.
