FLORENCE – The Florence Exchange Club’s annual One Nation Under God Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for November 9 at the Marriott-Shoals Conference Center in Florence. Former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback, Brodie Croyle, will be the guest speaker.
Croyle was a member of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team from 2002-2005. He later played professionally with the Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona Cardinals from 2006-2012. He currently serves as the Executive Director for the Big Oak Ranch.
The Big Oak Ranch was founded in 1974 by Brodie’s father, John Croyle. Their mission is to meet the needs of abused, neglected and abandoned children by giving them a solid, Christian home and a chance to realize and fulfill God’s plan for their lives.
“It’s really exciting to have a speaker like Brodie as a part of our program, and to hear him deliver a really positive message.” said Bert Bretherick, Florence Exchange Club President.
Breakfast will be served at 6:30am on November 9. The program begins at 7am. Tickets are $25 or $200 for a table of 8.
