FLORENCE – Trent Jordan, First Southern Bank’s former Senior Vice President, has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of the company.
Jordan earned his Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration degree at the University of Alabama with a major in Accounting. He acquired a Master’s in Accountancy from the University of Alabama, and later obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Jordan joined Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC in 2009 as a CPA, but his education did not stop. He graduated from Alabama Banking School in 2014, from Tennessee Bankers Association Commercial Lending School in 2015, Tennessee Bankers Association Advanced Commercial Lending School in 2016, and from Alabama Bankers Association Bank Executive Leadership Program in 2018.
Jordan has been with FSB since June 2018 as the Senior Vice President. He was responsible for commercial and industrial loan production in the Shoals market and overseeing the investment portfolio of the bank.
Jordan’s community involvement includes being a member of the Riverhill School Board and as its Treasurer, Vice-Chairman of NACOLG’s Revolving Loan Fund Committee, and a member of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce and Shoals Home Builders Association.
