LORETTO – The Loretto Lioness Club will host its 1st Annual Christmas Festival on Saturday, December 6 from 12-6pm at Weathers Park on Main Street in Loretto, Tennessee. There will be a Christmas tree-lighting at 5pm. There will also be a kids elf look-alike contest at 1pm and a gingerbread house competition. Neither has an entry fee.
Your gingerbread house must be assembled and brought to the senior center no later than 11:30am. It must be made from gingerbread and all items must be edible. The winner will be decided by public vote.
The cakewalk only requires a one dollar entry fee and there will be plenty of photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus... and the Grinch! Several food vendors will be on site as a pause between visits with the wide variety of shopping vendors. The always-popular Cadillacs will also be playing during the Christmas Festival from 1:30-3pm.
This will be a perfect event to exercise responsible social distancing while still having a great, festive time. Bring your chairs to enjoy all the entertainment.
All proceeds from the Christmas Festival will be used to purchase additional lighting for Weathers Park.
