Remembering the Fallen

Throughout the evening, UNA will be recognizing active-duty members of our military, veterans, National Guard, first responders and healthcare workers.

FLORENCE - The University of North Alabama invites everyone to join us at Braly Stadium on Saturday, September 11  as the Lions take on UT Chattanooga.  This was originally scheduled as the Lion’s 2021 home-opener until damage from Hurricane Ida created the need for UNA to play host to the game with SE Louisiana this past weekend.

This day will also be the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 terrorist attacks.  Throughout the evening, UNA will be recognizing active-duty members of our military, veterans, National Guard, first responders and healthcare workers.

Any individual who falls into one of those categories will receive a complimentary ticket to the game and may purchase additional tickets for immediate family members at $5 each. Tickets and must be picked up in person prior to game day.  The UNA Ticket Office is located in front of Flowers Hall on Pine Street. Individuals will be asked to show a medical or military ID to pick up the complimentary tickets.

The North Alabama Marching Pride will be performing a patriotic medley at halftime. The band will also be holding its annual Band Day, which will include hundreds of high school band members.
