ROGERVILLE – Have you ever found an interesting-looking rock and thought that it was more than a natural formation?
Did it look like it might be an arrowhead or some type of ancient stone tool? Do you have a box of “Old Indian Rocks” that you picked up as a child or were given by a relative?
Now is your chance to find out exactly what you have.
The Alabama Chapter of the Central States Archaeological Society will be presenting the 2019 Rogersville Indian Artifact Show on September 29 at the beautiful Joe Wheeler State Park Lodge from 8am-3pm.
Some of the finest Indian Artifacts collected in Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida and Kentucky will be on display. These impressive collections will represent artifacts from the Paleo, Archaic, Woodland, and Mississippian time periods.
There will be multiple collectors on hand to answer any questions you may have about their collections or any artifact that you bring in. Noted Authenticator Jerry Dickey will be in attendance. Admission is free.
