Native Peoples and Crawfish

The Florence Indian Mound Museum’s Children’s series this Saturday will focus on the Crawfish and its importance in the stories of the Chickasaw and Cherokee. 

FLORENCE – The Florence Indian Mound Museum’s Children’s series this Saturday will focus on the Crawfish and its importance in the stories of the Chickasaw and Cherokee.  

The free program will take place on Saturday, August 20 at 10am and is aimed at an elementary level age group.  Students will also participate in a hands-on activity where they will create an exhibit about what they have learned. Please visit www.florencealmuseums.com/young-learners to sign up.
