The 11th Annual Coats’ Farm Benefit Trail Ride & Auction March 6 and 7.  There is no admission charge, but donations are accepted. 

FLORENCE – The 11th Annual Coats’ Farm Benefit Trail Ride & Auction March 6 and 7.  There is no admission charge, but donations are accepted. 

All proceeds go to North Alabama Christian Children’s Home.

The popular “Under the Tents” yard sale will take place as usual beginning at 7am Friday and Saturday.

The Trail Ride begins at 9am Saturday.  Live entertainment will be provided by the Pioneer Drive Band at 10am.  A Silent Auction will be from 10am-noon  with gift cards, hotel stays, oil changes, and much more up for grabs.  There will be BBQ, hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken and goat stew, ham & beans for lunch at 11:15. 

The Public Auction begins at 12:15pm  Items are still being accepted - no clothes please, but very good yard sale items. Already included is new and used furniture, appliances, sports memorabilia, horse tack, grass seed, vacations, tools, cakes, pies and much more.

The North Alabama Christian Children’s Home is a 501©3 group residential home that is licensed by the state of Alabama to provide 24/7 care for up to 33 children.  NACCH offers a safe haven for children who have come from an environment of abandonment, neglect, or abuse. 

Directions to Coats Farm: 

From Florence: Go North on Hwy 17 (Chisholm Rd.) from Cox Creek Pkwy for 10 miles, turn right on CR 8 (in front of Salem Church of Christ), go 1 mile and go straight onto CR 299. Go 1 mile turn right on CR 298. Farm 3/8 mile (2nd house) on right.

From Greenhill: Take CR 8 for Hwy 43 for about 8 miles, cross RR tracks and go 2 miles, turn right on CR 299. Go 1 mile turn right on CR 298. Farm 3/8 mile (2nd house) on right.
